Three basic examinations exploring poetry and conversation skills designed to introduce the exams structure.

Performance Examinations

LAMDA’s performance examinations use drama to develop self-confidence, physical presence and a strong speaking voice. This includes acting, devising drama and miming.

Musical Theatre Examinations

Enhancing self-confidence through singing and acting. Designed for solo or duologue performances. 

Group Examinations 

For three or more learners, LAMDA’s group examinations build the same communication and life skills as the other examination formats, but also help to develop team-working skills.

Shakespeare Examinations

LAMDA’s Shakespeare examinations provide the opportunity to develop an understanding and appreciation of characterisation and use of language by exploring Shakespeare’s plays and sonnets.

Communication Examinations

LAMDA’s communication examinations provide the opportunity to develop a clear speaking voice, positive body language and self-confidence by exploring different uses of spoken English.


UCAS have introduced a new tariff which came into effect from September 2017. The new tariff supports Learners applying to Higher Education, to start university or college. LAMDA's Level 3 recognised qualifications are included in the new UCAS tariff.


One to one training - £35 per hour

Duo training - £20 per hour per person

Groups of 3 or more - £15 per hour per person
